Ground State Reiki LLC (“Ground State Reiki,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates groundstatereiki.com and provides Reiki services from Seattle, Washington. This Privacy Policy describes our handling of personal information through our website, inquiries, bookings, payments, and services.

Information we collect

Contact and inquiry information. When you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message.

Booking and intake information. Our Acuity booking and intake process collects your name, phone number, email address, previous Reiki experience, and consent acknowledgments, together with information about your appointment. Our intake form does not ask for medical history or health goals.

Please avoid sending medical records or detailed medical information through our contact form or ordinary email.

Payment information. We use Square for payments.

Distance-session information. We use Zoom for distance sessions.

Website and analytics information. Our website uses Squarespace and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

How we use information

We use contact, booking, and intake information to respond to inquiries, arrange appointments, prepare for sessions, document consent acknowledgments, and communicate about requested services. We use payment-related information to administer payments and associated transactions.

Our marketing email checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. Choosing whether to receive marketing emails is separate from booking-related communications.

Service providers and other disclosures

We use the following services for the functions described:

  • Squarespace — website hosting and contact forms.

  • Acuity Scheduling — appointments and intake forms.

  • Square — payments.

  • Google Analytics 4 — website analytics.

  • Zoom — distance sessions.

These services have their own privacy notices. Their notices supplement this policy; they do not replace our explanation of Ground State Reiki’s practices.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Browser controls may affect website functionality and do not necessarily control every form of data collection.
